OK Magazine Paid $500,000 For Photo
OK Magazine has stated that they have purchased a picture of the late Michael Jackson for $500,000 lying on a stretcher for their latest cover. It appears that the company would do anything to sale the magazine. I believe that was not a good gesture for the public to see. Some fans would purchase the magazine because Michael Jackson is an icon and others may not want to see that on a cover of a magazine. I feel that the company should have thought hard and long about publishing that picture on the cover.
The publication of Michael Jackson on the cover is a tribute to the King Of Pop stated by the magazine. However, others do not see it that way. There is a petition to stop the publication of any other copies. The family, friends and fans of the late Michael Jackson do not see it as a tribute, they see it as the company is trying to sell their magazine. It was stated that the petitions points to that the company has violated Michael's privacy. The editorial director of OK states that she does not see it that way.
